screw pulls out of outlet box

I replaced an outlet in an existing outlet box (it's nailed to a stud) and now the top screw of the outlet pulls out. What is the best way to correct this so the top screw of the outlet remains screwed into the box?

You could use a slightly larger screw (diameter). Is it a metal box or plastic?

The box is plastic. I guess I could try using pipe thread tape.

A trick I used to use on stripped screws back when I was into radio controlled cars, was to put a light coat of cyanoacrylate (superglue) on the inside edges of the stripped part of the screwhole. DON'T fill the hole, just coat the sides lightly - use a toothpick, if that helps. When it cures, you've got yourself a brand-spankin' new hole that should accept the original screw without a problem.
