Recently bought a new Ritetemp thermostat. The old one I am replacing has a wire "r" but there is not a place on he new thermostat for it.
I have the following new connections
C- ac power to run thermostat
O- damper or changover valve
B- damper or changeover valve
RC- cooling transformer
RH- heat transformer
W- heating control
Y- cooling compressor
G- fan relay
Would I put the "R" wire to the "C" connection? I have hooked up the W, Y, & G wires already.
Thanks

I would connect the R wire to either the RC or RH screw and leave the jumper between RC and RH attached. The R wire is likely a shared heat/cool power wire. Do not connect the R wire to the C screw--you don't have a C wire coming from the furnace.
