Rewiring house

Hello-i am considering purchasing a 3-family house, 3-story, 25x40 ft home, built in 1899. i had inspection done, which revealed ok level of electricity into home, but POOR distribution. I will need to have new breakers, wiring etc., including the removal of old wiring. Any idea of how much an electrician might charge for such a project?
I understand that unless seeing the project only a general range can be suggested. Thanks for any help you can give me.---Gina

It could be ten to thirty thousand dollars, plus the cost of somebody to repair the walls after the electrician is finished.
