Question OK to splice 10/3 feeder to sub

I have been using the advice on this forum to run power to a shed 100' from the main. I have run 10/3 wg UF, but I was short by ~5' . Is is ok to splice in more? I will be using a junction box where the feeder comes into the shed floor.

This is not a problem to do. Many times we have to splice when changing wiring methods. IE: Conduit to cable.
