elec plumbing code question

I need to upgrade from old rayon style wiring, I am about to run a 12/2 romex to my attic from my panel in the basement and the easiest way is to follow the sewer pipe up to the second floor, the sewer pipe runs through a 16in.x6in. wall its entire length. and will code allow me to run my romex cable under the bathtub between the floors? thanks for all your input.

If by under the bathtub you mean under the floor under the bathtub, that should be OK. If you mean on the floor under the bathtub, I don't think that will pass.

wiring lights

I'm trying to determine how many circuits I should use to power my lights in a new construction basement. I have 11 recessed lights, which will have 65 watt bulbs. I also have two pendant lights that will have 60 watt bulbs for a total of 835 watts. Does this require 2 circuits, or 1? I have the recessed light hooked together with 14-2 NM, so I'll be putting in 15amp breakers. Is there a resource on the internet that will help me determine questions like this? Thanks

Outlet location question

I have hot water baseboard style heaters, I know you cannot have outlets above electric baseboard heaters, does this rule apply to hot water baseboard also? I have a few rooms that the baseboard heater runs the entire length of the wall, {at least 12 feet}. and would like to install a few outlets in those rooms. thanks for any ideas
