Installing a timer, ground question

I am trying to install a timer into a three wire line to a heat lamp. The receptical is plastic, and there seems to be no place to connect the green ground wire. What do I do with the ground wire??
Thanks.

Not sure what you mean by 3 wire line, how many wires do you have in the switchbox?.I guessing this is for a recessed bathroom fixture. If there is no ground in the switchbox for the ground from the timer just tuck it into the box, dont cut it you may want to rewire the circuit someday.
