Something to think about?
RULING OUT THAT THE FOLLOWING WILL COST MORE:
In new construction, why not build all circuits 20 amps? (all circuits is excluding those that require more than 20 amps already)
Is there any reason not to when not taking into account the extra cost?
Based on the load requirements of computers (now coming with dual 500 watt power supplies) cord and plug appliances, and all the other electronics and gizmos in the hosue, wouldn't it be a smart thing to do?
I'd like to hear your opinons!

Money and time. That's all.
Some may talk about a 15-amp circuit being "safer" than a 20-amp circuit, but I think they are just rationalizing their attempt to save money and time.
In my house, I would never add a new 15-amp circuit.
