Is Our Electrical Main Panel Overloaded In My House
We have a 125 AMP, Federal Poineer, 1989, Stab-Lock Loadcenter for our house distribution system. I wanted to know is it over loaded.
On the Left Side, we have:
15amp - (single pole) 2 sets of lights one in bedroom and kitchen
15amp - (double pole) 1 plug receptacle in kitchen (tab removed)
15amp - (single pole) 1 bedroom plug in, 1 basement plugin and 3 lights
15amp - (single pole) 3 lights, 3 plugs in porch, 1 in kitchen
20amp - (double pole) baseboard heaters (2) 1 in each bedroom
15amp - (single pole) 7 plugs (1 in living room, 6 in bedrooms)
15amp - (single pole) 2 lights (in bedrooms)
15amp - (single pole) plug in kitchen
15amp - (single pole) 3 plugs (1 in bathroom, 1 in dining room, 1 in kitchen cabinet)
40amp - (double pole) power to shed
20amp - (double pole) baseboard heaters (2) 1 in bathroom and 1 in living room
On the Right Side, we have:
15amp - (single pole) 2 living room wall-lights
15amp - (single pole) 1 plug, under wall-lights
20amp - (double pole) electric hot water heater
15amp - (single pole) 3 lights (light in dining room, bathroom, over front door), 2 plugins (fridge, and bedroom)
15amp - (single pole) 1 plug in (outside, GFI)
30amp - (double pole) dryer receptacle
40amp - (double pole) stove top and in wall-oven
20amp - (single pole) plug in dining room
20amp - (double pole) baseboard heaters (3) 1 in porch, 1 in dining room, and 1 in bedroom.
Thats all.
3 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, shed, basement, porch, bathroom.
I also like to mention there is still some wire in the house that has the old insulation, like cardboard or paper, 1 is orange colored, 1 is brown colored, another is dark blue.

Nope it doesn't but however we don't have everything being used at one time either, also we have a subpanel in the shed with a 15amp (single pole) 20amp (single pole) and a 30amp (twin pole) breakers in it.
Regarding with the old paper insulation wire it would be good for all intense purposes to get rid of it and get the proper sizing and up to date wire.
