If i turn off the breaker that controls 2 outside and 2 inside sockets i dont get shocked.OK, heres the kicker. 2 days ago i turned off the breaker that controls 1 bedroom and it stoped. Know today its a totally different breaker. HELP. thanks to john nelson its fixed. it was the blower motor on the heater shorted out

PLEASE: Don't use the shower again until a licensed electrician has determined what is wrong and fixed it! Go to the gym, do any thing, but getting a shock in the shower is BAD!

Two possibilities that I can think of: (1) Somebody ill-advisedly grounded something to a water pipe, or (2) If you have an electric water heater, something went wrong with one of the elements.

gigsir1000,

You don't happen to live in the UK by any chance.

There is a device I learned about here called an "electric shower".
Apparantly quite common in Europe but totally "foreign" to us NA's.

Glad you figured it out but would you answer some questions,

Are you in the UK and how do you get a shock from a fan forced heater while in the shower?

Is the heater in the shower stall
