Cutting power

Hi all
I need to cut the power permanentely to a branch of K & T .
Is it enough to disconect this particular circuit fuse or do i need to open the fuse panel disconect and remove the hot and neutral wires?Thanks a lot

I would remove the wires myself, someone...someday could simply put the fuse back in and burn your house down...in theory anyway.

If you are permanently removing this circuit then you need to remove the wires from the fuses. You don;t have to remove the wires from the walls if you don't want to. but I would certainly remove everything easily accessible in the basement.
