Stainless steel....
This may not be the right board for this topic, but we just redid our kitchen. Wood cabinets, granite top, stainless steel appliances....
I need to do something about the outlets, off white, and beige do not wok. Is there a source to purchase stainless steel outlets, switches, etc....
Thanks

Stainless steel switch and outlet plates are available at almost any electrical supply house. They are widely used in commercial construction.i

You can even get plates to match the granite, or plates made of the same wood as your cabinets, again just check the decorator section at a home centre electrical aisle, near the boring plates.
Google: "switch cover"
EDIT: And of course: http://doityourself.com/store/specialtyswitchplates.htm

Fairly good assumption. Stainless steel is a conductor of electricity. Having an actual outlet made of it would probably be a bad idea.
You may find decora swithes that have a stainless steel look.

I think I'll try the black with the SS covers.
