self reseting breakers?

I've been told there are GFCIs and or AFCIs which after tripping will test the circuit in a few minutes and if okay turn themselves on, but I have yet to be able to find any... Are there such beasts?

I've never heard of such an animal. Residential circuit breakers are operated manually.

As well there shouldn't be!!!
A thermal overload is one thing, but a breaker? Never.

Self-resetting breakers are often used in high-voltage distribution systems, but not in homes.
