dimmer switch removal

I would like to change out the dimmer switch which controls 6 R-30 lights.
I would like to change the bulbs to fluorescent and thus change the switch
to a simple , single pole type. I peaked a little at the present switch and it is a Lutron model with only 2 black wires going to it. I can see several white wires wire nutted together behind the switches (there is another single pole switch next to it and it controls a single bulb.) Ground wires are behind but I did not poke around.
What do I need to do in order to change over to a single pole switch?

Simply connect the 2 black wires to the new switch. You may have to add a little pigtail since the "regular" switches don't have pigtails.

Good point about the pigtail. I wouldn't have thought of that one until
I tried installing a new switch.

Many thanks for your help.
