What size wire and breaker?

I have to run a 220 volt, 50 amp dedicated circuit for a new oven. It will be 60 feet long. What size wire should I use and should I use a 30 amp or a 60 amp breaker on each 110 volt leg?

I would run 6-3 with ground and protect it on a 2 pole 50 amp breaker.

Not relavent. This is a 120/240 circuit. It needs a two pole breaker so you do not have two 120 volt circuits. You have a 240 volt circuit with a neutral which gives the appliance the ability to utilize a 120 volt load, such as a light bulb.

TRS is correct, 6/3 w/ground on a two pole 50.
