Flickering Electrical

Flickering Electrical
Hi,
I noticed in the last week that our bathroom light and living room light (on different circuits) have been periodically flickering (more than normal). In addition, high wattage devices like the microwave and blow dryer have been cutting in and out. I have tried these devices on different circuits to see if there was a loose wire in that particular circuit that might be causing arcing. However, the same thing happened when I tried them on another circuit. Any ideas on how best to troubleshoot this before I call an electrician? Voltage checks, etc? Could it be a power company issue? The circuit breakers are not warm or anything like that. Also, no recent electrical work has been done that may have caused this.
Thanks,
Ron

Start with the electric company. Call them now. They work nights, weekends, and holidays. Don't wait, call them now.
Flickering is one thing. Cutting in and out is quite a another. Call the electric company now.
