weatherhead?

I just purchased an old farmhouse. The main electric coming from the utility pole consists of 3 separate lines, the top being neutral the bottom two hot.
I want this updated to a new line (single with two wires braided around it) The electric company will do it, but I need to put in a modern weatherhead/periscope/drip loop. Does anybody know anything about this kind of thing?

Is a weatherhead something you can just pick up at an electrical supply company?

Thanks

A weatherhead should easily be available at an electrical supply house. It is a small birdhouse looking item.

You will need to coordinate the installation with the power company. These cannot be installed with your service cable attached to the incoming power lines.

IMO if you do not even know what a wetherhead is I would leave the job to an electrician.
