dedicated Ckts - diswasher , garbage disposal

Does the code require that the dishwasher and disposal have dedicated 15A ckt for each?

or can i use one 15A ckt for both appliances?

There is no such code requirement. If you are going to put them on the same circuit, I would at least go with a 20 amp circuit. With a 15 amp circuit it is possible that you may not be able to run both at the same time.

If you are going to stick with the 15-amp circuit for both, then control your appetite. Get a disposal no more than 1/2 horsepower, and a dishwasher without water heating or power drying capability.

Best is to have separate circuits for each.
Second best is to have them share a 20-amp circuit.
Having them share a 15-amp circuit is a last resort only.
