15 amp 2 pole,20 amp 2 pole

What are the disadvantages with the 15amp & 20amp 2 pole murray breakers. I ran out of slots on my 150amp service panel. Can I still run 10 recptacles on a 20amp 2 pole. Will either of these 2 poles trip more often? Are there any limitations on either the 15amp or 20amp 2 pole breakers?

For a residential system in the US there is no limit to the number of receptacles or lights on a circuit. Forget that 10 rule, as it is not a rule. Receptacles and lights do not increase the load on a circuit, only plugging something in *and using it) and/or turning on the light increase the load.

Tandem breakers give you two breakers in the space of one. If you use a 20 amp tandem breaker then you can run two 20 amp circuits from it, instead of the one that you can run from a single 20 amp breaker.

The only limitations on tandem breakers are that the panel must support them.

"The only limitations on tandem breakers are that the panel must support them." That is to say, they must be listed for use in your specific panel model.
