Double wall switch

In my kitchen I am relocating a wall switch for my garbage disposal to where an existing kitchen light switch is and then replacing both switches with a double wall switch. What I've noticed is that one switch is wired with 12 gage wire and the other is wired with 14 gage wire. Do I need a special kind of double switch to accommodate the 12 & 14 wires.

Thank you,

Haywire

No, a single pole switch over switch will be fine.Is there a separate hot for the light & the disposer?....if so make certain you break the tab on the switch where the hot wire gets connected
