New Bar cooler

Got a counter top barback cooler from beverage air. It didn't come wired, or come with a wire and plug to hook it up. Guess that's why it was on sale.

The problem is there are four wires, but I know it is 115V.

One white which is the neutral.
One Black which is hot.
One green and white which I'm assuming is ground
One Brown, which I have no idea~

If anyone knows anything about bar coolers, and could tell me what to hook the brown wire wire up to I really be thankful.

Thanks n advance!

What do the directions tell you? If for some reason you don't have instructions, then get them. Call the manufacturer. Email the manufacturer. Check their web site.

Bar cooler

I have located the schematic, and it shows the brown wire going to the temp control with the black wire coming of the other side.

So the brown completes the circuit.....

I'll try getting ahold of Beverage XXX on monday.

Thanks,

It is common when the compressor is mounted remote from the cooler to have the thermostat wire in the junction box to cycle the compressor.
Is there a compressor in the cooler?

Talking Commpresor

Yes the comp is in the top half just above the junction box.

THe are two lare copper lines coming down from where the fan, and radiator are.

Thanks for your help.

So, is the compressor pre wired or do you need to power it up with the brown wire?
You really should verify that the brown wire is indeed connected to the thermostat.
