wall recepticle

outlet test ok with continuity tester , but when i plug something into it , the gfi outlet in the circuit trips.All the other outlets in the circuit work fine.

The GFCI receptacle is wired wrong. Look there, make sure that the outgoing wires are on the LOAD side of the receptacle and that the incoming power wires are on the LINE side.

Billy, if you changed something recently, tell us exactly what you changed. If not, tell us if this worked right when you went to sleep last night, but didn't work right when you woke up this morning. Or tell us if it has never worked right since the day you moved in.
