dedicated outlet

I have a two wire system in my house and I wanted to put a new receptacle in my basement with a three wire to plug in the computer and tv. I have to go from a new breaker (theres plenty of room in the box) to a new receptacle. Can someone direct me to a website with instructions on how to do this. I have never done this before. Thanks

The scope of your question is extremely broad. There is no place I have seen that will give you step by step instructions. This would be impossible as there are dozens of ways to do it in dozens of different construction settings.

From the tone of your post, I have to ask; do you really feel confident you have enough knowledge to do this task?

If so here is some very good reading:

In my opinion, the web is a poor place to acquire such basic skills. Books on home wiring, readily available at home centers and public libraries, are much better resources for this. Look for books with colorful pictures and diagrams, and get more than one.

Thanks but it was actually very simple to do even without pictures and books.
