Question CECHA approved meter socket??

Anyone know what a CECHA approved meter socket is? According to my power company, that is what I need in order to upgrade our service to 200 amps.

Thanks,
Larry

Larry, CHECA is simply the acroynm for your power utility company. You need a meter socket approved by them. Go to their website for a list of the meter sockets they require.

Roger,

My Utility company (Commonwealth Edison) told me they don't has a list. The socket has to have a CECHA approved stamp ???? I looked through their site and can't find any reference to their requirements. I am rather confused.
