Talking Help wiring 220v pump timer

Need assistance with how to replace a on/off switch with a 220 volt timer. Timer is a Tork 1104 that has four screw terminals.

Thank You

220V input on terminals "L" and "1" and load on terminals "X" and "2". The 220V timer motor is factory wired on L & 1.

Hope this helps!

More info please

Thanks for your help. Is the thrid leg the ground. I show three legs coming off the box. All 3 are fused and I didn't know a ground would be fused. The three(red off left side, blue in the middle and black on right side) The motor has the same combination going to the present switch with the third leg boing to L3. Does this timer(Tork 1104) work with with a 3 phase motor?

Thanks again.

That is the description of a three phase load. You can still use it for the 240 load. Use only two of the contacts.
