Magnets affect breaker box?

My house was completely rewired 3 years ago. No the last month, 3 different breakers have tripped in 1 breaker box. They all reset with no other known problems. My wife had placed a refrigerator magnet on the cover to the breaker box. Could this have caused the trips? If not, what is happening? Once the magnet was removed,no more trips[so far] thanks for your help!

Breakers do have magnetic components to their trip mechanism, but it's almost impossible to believe that a refrigerator magnet on the panel cover would be strong enough to have any effect.
