Ready to wire into the pannel but....

I have wired all my outlets and now I'm ready to install the breakers in the panel. When I opened the panel, however, I noticed that there are no bare copper wires. I'm using 14/2 armored cable, so what do I do with the green (ground) wire? A book I have on household wiring says that if the box doesnít have a bus for the ground, connect it to the neutral bus with the white wire. Is this correct? Iím almost done, please help.

If this is the panel containing the main disconnect for the house, and if you have spare unused holes on your neutral bar, you can add your grounding wires there. Each hole can contain one neutral, or two grounding wires, but never two neutrals nor one neutral and one grounding wire.

If you run out of space, add-on grounding bar kits are normally about five bucks at your home center.
