Garbage Disposal Problem?

Garbage disposal has worked fine in the past, no issues.

Today, I was doing the dishes and meant to flip on the light and flipped the disposal switch instead. It seemed to power up fine. I meant to hit the light so I quickly flipped it back off.

10 minutes later, dishes were done, and I tried to run the disposal.
It does nothing but emit a low electrical hum.
Doesn't seem to try to spin at all.

Nothing even remotely hard/large was in there, so i don't imagine its jammed, and I can't see anything when looking in there. Both of the grinding/spinning pieces rotate freely.

Other switches/outlets/appliances all work fine, so no breaker seems to be tripped.

Any ideas?

A hum is the normal symptom of a jam. Try the allen wrench in the bottom. Unplug it first, or shut off the breaker if it's not cord-and-plug connected.
