Switch Problem

Recently, my closet light went out. It is a 4 foot fluorescent light fixture. I've changed the switch. I've replaced the bulbs. I've checked the eletrical current. There is only 25 volts showing on the multimeter. What else can I do?

Thanks.

25 volts showing where? Between what two points/wires?
Sounds like you have an open connecton somewhere on the circuit.

Two, two, two. We need two points that you measured the voltage between. And "at the switch" is far too imprecise. Where at the switch?

If you are measuring across the screw terminals of the switch, that is a useless measurement.
