Cable thru Joists Question

Happy summer to all. If I am drilling 1" diameter holes thru my basement ceiling joists (in the center of course) can I safely transit 4 # 12 cables thru this hole. I am making sure there are no burrs on the holes, and no scuffing on the cables. There are no turns since it is a straight run.

Thank You.

Yes, that's okay.

Just my personal preference, but I'd rather drill two 3/4" holes about 6" apart and run two cables through each.
