Dining area circuits

I'm rewiring a 1956 house...

1) If I read (googled excerpts) 210.52 correctly, dining area receptacles can be on the kitchen small appliance circuit(s)? Is this correct?

Thanks!!!

Yes. In fact, they cannot be on any other circuit (except their own circuit).

Not only can be, must be! You can have as many small-appliance circuits as you want (at least two), but they all must be 20-amp circuits dedicated to kitchen countertop, refrigeration, and dining room receptacles.
