Baseboard heater Control wiring
Hi,
I am replacing the old thermostats and they are the 2 wire style. Currently I have a few new honeywell 4 wire thermostats, is there a way to use these with the 2 wire system, or is better to grab a few of the 2 wire kind ?
Thanks in advance

If you have a 4 wire thermostat, read the installation instructions, as there might be multiple ways to hook it up depending on how many wires you have available. If there is an instruction for hooking up only 2 wires and those are the same 2 wires you have, then you are good to go.

Presuming this is heat-control---If the terminals are "W", "R", "G", & "Y", use the "R" & "W" terminals.
You may need a back-plate with a "Heat/Cool" selector switch.
Good Luck & Enjoy the Experience!!!!!!!!!!!
