Screw CAps color coding

What color screw caps are allowed for hot, neutral, and ground wires ?
Are there wiring situations where different color caps can be used ??/
Thanks

The color of a wire nut is often used to indicate its size. Green ones with holes in the end are often used for grounding wires. However, there are no NEC codes that dictate what color you should use for what kind of wire. Use what fits.

I think that the colors are just different ways manufacturers mark there product. There are limitations as to how many wires you can splice together, but that is based on the gauge of the wire not the color of the twist cap.
