130 volts bulb

130 volts bulb

I order some halogen bulb for under cabinet. There the puck type
There 120 volts type G8 bayonet type bulb 20 w
if i purchase the 130v G8 20w bayonet type replacement bulb, would they work anyway?

Yes. The 130volt have a heavier element. We use 130volt rough service bulbs in our temp lights.

Pewee is correct.
130V lamps will last somewhat longer, but be slightly dimmer when used on 120V. They are especially good for hard-to-reach places where relamping is a pain.
