Unhappy Replacing oven bake element

Hi I have taken the bottom bake element out of my stove because I thought that I needed a new one. Turns out that one of the wires connected to it has 'vanished', fried, I guess. Can I replace this? Any advice will help. Thanks.

Take the back off the stove. You will find the wire hanging there somewhere. You should also find a wiring diagram back there somewhere. Cut back the burnt wire and install anew crim connector. Reconnect to the element.

Bare in mind that connections for heating elements make sure you use the proper crimp on connector. I usually use ones designed for this purpose. They tend to be made beefier and made from stainless steel. Also make sure it is for the proper gauge wire or you'll be doing this all over again.

Thanks so much, I'll give that a try tomorrow.
