fuse box trouble
I'm having trouble with my garage lights....they are feed out of a fuse box(the fuse box is a sub panel)...I have power to the sub panel but I'm not getting any power to my lights.....I changed all the fuses in the box so I know they are good....could there be a problem with the panel itself?...other circuits coming out of the panel work...the fuse box has 4 round fuses and 4 cigar shape fuses....is there a way to check the panel box it self?...Just in case how can I check the fuses with a multi-tester?...I appreciate any suggestions....Thanks

Fuses can be checked with a multimeter. if they show continuity through them, they are fine.
Use your voltmeter and see if you have 120 volts exiting the panel on the wire for the lights. Then use your meter to see if you 120 volts at the lights. In other words, check for 120 volts each step of the way. Just be careful because you have to check for 120 volts with the power on.
