wiring a carrier air handler

I am wiring a 5 ton carrier air handler. It has 2 60 amp breakers. They are marked 10 k on the handles. Is it necessary to run 2 sets of 6-2 wire from the main service or is there some kit available for this?

There is no "kit"; the issue is a Code-approved Wiring Method for routing the conductors between the two connection-points.

The simplest and most economical ( cheapest?) , depending upon stuctural conditons ,would be Type NM ( Non-metallic) cable.

Routing the W-M across and under finished walls & ceilings may require PVC Conduit.

When you say 2 60amp breakers, do you mean 2-220 breakers taking up a total of 4 slots, or 1- 220 breaker, taking up 2 slots?
Is the air handler inside...if so...where?
