3 way switch to hall light

I have a hall light that is hooked up to 2 three way switches. The wiring is 12-2, (black, white, red, and shield). What is the correct way of hooking up the wiring so that both switches operate the light. Also, i want to tie in another wire to run constant power to an attic light that will be operated by a pull chain. Any way to do this or do i need to find another source of power. Thank You!!!!!

There are at least eight different ways to connect a three way switch we need more info.
Look at the drawings at this site. It may help you.

ON THE 3 WAY SWITCH THERE ARE THREE SCREWS ONE IS BLACK CALLED THE COMMON THE OTHER TWO ARE TRAVELERS. THINK OF THE COMMONS ON BOTH SWITCHES AS A SINGLE POLE REGULAR SWITCH, ONE COMMON GETS THE HOT WIRE CONNECTED TO IT AND THE OTHER ONE GETS THE SWITCH LEG GOING TO THE LIGHT. THE TRAVELER CONNECTIONS ARE STRICTLY BETWWEN THE TWO 3 WAY SWITCHES, THIS IS HOW YOU CAN TURN ON AND OFF YOUR LIGHTS WITH BOTH SWITCHES. GOODLUCK AND BE SAFE! SOUNDS CONFUSING, I KNOW!
