Power brown out

I recently installed a booster pump for water pressure since I live almost 400 ft. off the street. The pump did increase the water flow but every time it turns on all the lights flicker for a split second and than return to normal. This only happens when the pump initially turns on but not during operation. What do I need to do stop this "brown out" situation? I also do not have another electric out near by taht I can switch to.

What are the electrical requirements of the pump and how is it wired up now? What are the manufacturer electrical requirements for the pump?

This may be normal operation, but the flicker could be made worse if the pump has not been wired properly.

There's probably not much you can do about the brown out.

However, you can make sure that you followed the instructions for installation, which most likely call for a dedicated circuit. I wouldn't want anything else on the same circuit as this device.
