Pigtail inside Panel?

Hi, my old General Switch Co. breaker panel is out of room for my grounds. The neutrals and grounds share the same bar. I cannot find an additional bar to fit in the panel. Can I pigtail some of my grounds (all #12 AWG) with a wire nut to free up and make neater this box of spaghetti?
THANKS.

In most panels you can double-up grounds of the same gauge under one screw. Some newer panels even allow triple grounds under one screw. Neutral wires must be under their own screws. Have you doubled up the grounds?

OK, now you bar may not allow it or it may but rather than doing the pigtail I would suggest you see if you have a screw hole with maybe (1) # 12 AWG in it and possibly add the additional ground wire to that one...make sure they are the same size.....

The panel may or maynot allow doubling up of even grounds but I like the idea of that better than doing pigtails to solve it.

Thank you, they are all #12, so I will double up under the screws.
Happy Holidays.
