Dimmer For Aluninum Wire

Has anyone heard of or know a source for a dimmer with aluminum wire contacts. Thanks and Happy Holidays.

Use purple AL to CU wire nuts and copper pigtails.

Thanks

But I really want the appropriate dimmer if available. The wire nut/pigtail has been studied and considered less safe. In fact it is less reliable than CO/ALR devices, and much worse than COP-ALUM crimps, which is second only to rewiring wth copper.

I'm not sure that I agree with this. I have never seen this indicated before. Where did you read this?

I can't remember ever having seen a dimmer rated for AL wire.

I have seen dimmers with temperature rating restricting the use on older wiring methods. I don't remember the temp tho. Even with the correct connection the wiring may not have the correct rating for the heat developed by the dimmer.
