What electrical box? You main circuit breaker panel? Your meter box? A junction box?

If it is your circuit breaker panel, then try to firmly seat each breaker into the panel by pushing from the insulated portion near the handle. The residential breakers are push-on type, so it may have worked loss over time.

electrical box

If it is the green pad mount from which your underground service originates, that is normal. There's 15,000 volts running through it, and it hums. Don't defeat the seal and don't open it. It is the property of the power company and it is dangerous.
