Multiple I/O in a junction box

This should be easy-

I've got two circuits coming into, and the same two coming out of a junction box. I used a junction box to keep me from having to feed the Romex all in one long piece.

Should I be tying the whites in common within the jxn box even though they are separate circuits?

TIA

No. Keep the white wires separate for each circuit and the black wires separate for each circuit. However, connect all ground wires together.
