installing dishwasher/garbage disposal
How do I go about wiring new electrical under my sink for a garbage disposal and dishwasher? There is no electrical under there so I am assuming I am going to have to hard wire it.

You begin your project by reading on electrical wiring. I suggest Wiring Simplified as a good book to start with. Reading will get you the basics and help you plan your new circuit or circuits. You can then post back with specific questions.
No, you don;t need to hard wire the appliances. You can, but you can also install a receptacle and plug the devices in

The basic plan is to install an electrical box under the sink, add one or two breakers in the main breaker box, and run one or two cables from the breaker box to the electrical box under the sink. Obviously I skipped over a hundred details.
In addition to Wiring Simplified, you'll probably want to pick up one of the Black and Decker wiring books.
