Question Receptacle losses power

Our one receptacle in the bathroom losses power when we turn off the wall switch by the door.

Is there an easy fix to get the receptacle to maintain power?
Thanks

Leave the switch on?
Actually if you open the switch and the receptacle and tell us all the wires in there we should be able to help you. Turn off the power at the breaker first.

Something is miswired, most likely at the switch. Tell us ALL the wiring and we can sort it out.

And tell us who did what and when. Or did this just spontaneously start happening overnight? Or has it been this way since you moved in?

Is the switch in the same box as the receptacle? Did you add the receptacle? If the answer is yes to both, then you attempted an impossible project.
