New panel next to window
Mornin',
I'm putting a new meter/main breaker panel on the outside of my house.
The mast from the meter will run straight up to the overhead
service drop. My question is, there's a window on that wall, and is there a minimum distance that I can place the new panel away from the window? Just want to make sure it is right, before the inspector comes out.
thanks.

I
as long there a safe distance from the window and the box there should be no problem
I would recommend at least 10 inches

I am not aware of any window vs panel rules, but there are some regarding service entrance and separate cables/wires that have to do with windows. I can't cite the paragraph(s), but I seem to recall that separate service entrance wires must be at least 3 feet away from the side or bottom of a window. This may or may not be important in your instance.
