Recessed Fixture Touching Pipe
I've got a recessed can that I CAN install. A close fit, but it is between and touching both a hot and cold water line.
1.) Any code restriction on this?
2.) Are the water lines are grounded?
3.) What about safety? If hot shorted to ground, would it just trip the breaker--not zap me in the shower?
Thanks in advance.

Dont know
I dont know if your water lines are grounded or not.
Electroalisis can occur, basically causing your pipes to fail
There is a minimum clearance listed for that can from other object. Look at the specs.
Yes there is a chance that in the right situation that you could get jolted.
Move it or move the water lines.

kant spel
yep. thats it. I can not spell sometimes. Cans are made out of steel. If you have copper lines, it can cause that. Also, check local codes to see if there is a requirement for clearance that would esceed the manufatures spacing requirements.
