Switch to Timer Question

Hi, my bathroom outlet contains 3 switches. One controls the lights over the vanity mirror. The next controls the light on the ceiling exhaust fan. And the third controls the exhaust fan itself. Can I change out the exhaust fan switch and install a auto timer switch that will shut off on its own? And , will it fit into the existing outlet with the other two switches? THANKS.

You can buy spring type timers, where you turn the know to the desired time (usually in minutes) for the switch to be on. These require no neutral to operate, so can replace any switch.

Fitting them into the box can be challenging. However, with a three gang box you should have enough room.

Here's a time delay switch that will leave the fan for a while after you turn off the light.

Thank You, that seems to be exactly what I am looking for. Ordered it already and will post back when I install it.
