AFCI trip

I replaced the wiring in my two bedrooms last month. I installed a AFCI breaker in the panel for the two bedrooms. Everything worked great. Tonight, my wife turned on the bedroom light and the breaker tripped. I attempted to reset the breaker, but it tripped again. What are my options for troubleshooting?

Most likely it is the GFCI function that is tripping.

Unplug everything on that circuit.

Take down the lumenaire and look for a ground-fault (hot-to-ground or neutral-to-ground).

Then start taking apart some of your other wiring to isolate the fault.

Is there any chance that the wiring was damaged?
