At 0dark30 in the blessed AM when some poor soul is willing to pay double time to have his problem solved right now rather than wait until 8:00 am. It's good work and I'm happy to do it but I will never understand the customers that won't try to run particular appliances so I can judge whether the problem is even inside their home. I have had to charge three different people a full days wages for coming out and finding that the problem is with the POCO's supply rather than in their house.
i just saw an advertisment on TV regarding a power saving device for the home. They claim it can save up to 25% on ecectric usage. Here is the link:

Do any of you have experience with such devices? Or know how they operate?
Is it a scam?

I am trying to wire a hot tub and given that it's not working, I'm obviously doing something wrong...
From the GFCI to the spa, I have two blacks (Live), white (neutral), and green (ground)... the Spa pack has 5 possible slots - the top is uncovered copper ground, second is Red, third is White, fourth is Blue, and the fifth is open.
I tried the following wiring and with no luck:
on Spa: from GFCI:
Copper - Green
Red - Black
White - White
Blue - Black
Skip - None
Any thoughts?Read More
