Electric Baseboard Heating ?

I'm looking to paint some electric base board heaters in my house. The heaters are turned on once in a while, we usaually use the old and most cost efficent heating source.....Wood! Can anyone tell me how hot they get, I purchased a spray paint with a high gloss to match the trim. says surface heat of 200 degrees.....do the baseboards ever get hotter than that!
Thanks

Give it a try. Paint a few coats on one. Then after a day of drying, heat it up.
If it is fine, do the others.
